Koshokun

Koshokun, also known as Kusanku, or Kanku Dai (観空大), is the name of a kata within karate and it translates as gazing heavenward, viewing the sky, or contemplating the sky. The name refers to the person named Kusanku. He was a Chinese diplomat, from Fukien, who reportedly traveled to Okinawa to teach his system.

Koshokun exist in two versions: Koshokun (dai) and Koshokun (sho).
